The merging of the counties Hordaland and Sogn og Fjordane 1 January 2020 entailed a joining of the climate adaptation effort in the two county administrations. Noradapt collected data on the practices of each organisation, publishing the results of the comparison in 2020.

The Suzuki fly (photo) is mentioned in the report on climate adaptation technologies from 2019. Were this fly to gain foothold in Norway as a result of a warming climate, berry and fruit farmers would have to adapt through technological innovations to protect their produce.
