SUSADAPT SPECIAL COLLECTION
Noradapt has organised a special collection of the journal Weather, Climate, and Society, edited by the Head of Noradapt, Carlo Aall at Western Norway Research Institute (Vestlandsforsking). SUSADAPT Special Collection comprises scientific papers on the relationships between the goal of sustainable development and the concept of climate change adaptation (CCA). Papers in the collection investigate to what extent and in what ways the goal of a sustainable development may influence - positively or negatively - the way society should adapt to climate change.
An introductory article was published in 2023 by five researchers in Noradapt: “I’m Fixing a Hole Where the Rain Gets in, and Stops My Mind from Wandering”: Approaching Sustainable Climate Change Adaptations by Carlo Aall, Christiane Meyer-Habighorst, Irmelin Gram-Hanssen, Mari Hanssen Korsbrekke, and Grete Hovelsrud.
